Sony Bravia 8 vs LG C5

On paper the C5 wins, hands down. The bravia 8 uses LG's older panel (same panel used in the LG B5, B4, B3..) instead of the OLED evo panel used in the C5. Obviously Sony makes up for it in pretty much every other department, but in terms of peak brightness and efficiency the LG wins by a strong mar

Which of these 65" OLED TVs at Costco is the best value?

The LG B5 is definitely the best value, however I would spend the extra for the C5. The color volume is better, it has the better picture processor, and most importantly it's the brighter display. That would not only help in the semi-bright room it's going in, but also give HDR highlights more pop a

Which 4K TV for only cable TV and YouTube?

I’d recommend qm6k for this purpose. I have the 98” qm7k and it’s oled quality for tv shows basically. The 98” is 2,800 dimming zones and 3,000 nits. The qm6k 65” is 500 dimming zones and like 1,000+ nits. It’s $530 right now. The 65” qm7k is 899.99. Any tv under $800 from Samsung, Sony, and LG has

I need advice

Go with the TCL. OLED under $1000 will be dimmer and harder to see if you don't have a completely light controlled room. The S84F is a S85F with a worse panel so it is cheaper, and Samsung doesn't have/support Dolby Vision. If you have a light controlled room and can extend your budget if you truly

Couple of things I learnt: stay away from LG mini LED or QNED stay away from Samsung Boiled it down to: Bravia 5 mini LED Bravia 7 mini

Looking to buy: Samsung S84F 65" vs LG B5 65"

I've heard the Samsung isn't as color rich and is good really only in darker environments, is this accurate? Both are entry level OLED's and don't get as bright as you might think. I've heard Tizen isn't as good and webOS is just better overall, true? Both interfaces suck ass, however WebOS with LG
