i took delivery today of the new dolby atmos flex connect LG H7 sound bar from their sound suite line up
I also got mine a couple of weeks ago, got the H7 with four M7 speakers. Coming from a competitor, I ran into quite strange issues. When setting up, I was asked to have my phone on a 2.4 or 5 ghz channel. My router was set to one network with band steering and MLO, so I had to go into my router's se

Review LG H7/Sound Suite - What Hifi
Something to keep in mind is Whathifi and Tech Radar from looks of it only tested with two M7s which I suspect is why they rated vocal clarity lower. I would hypothesize that vocal quality with two discrete left and right m5 or m7s next to the H7 will increase vocal clarity. Presumably the H7 can fo

LG Immersive Quad Suite 7 Pro Review: Redefining modern home Theater
“If you own a DAFC-enabled TV but don’t want to pay for the H7 soundbar, I recommend getting at least 2 M7 speakers to try as rear channels while using the TV as a hub.” I think I should have tried this on my LG C5 with two M7’s. (I tried the H7 and 1 M7 speaker) on my LG C5 tv… i just felt like it

On-site Review LG Gallery TV and DAFC (Sound Suite)
Just for clarification, you do not need the sound bar to use the speakers as standalone speakers. You do need Wi-Fi for the initial set up with the LG app. The system is very very flexible. I saw demo the other day where they had two different stereo sets of speakers playing two completely different

How the Alpha 11 Processor powers the new LG Sound Suite with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (my review of the LG event in Sydney, Australia)
I’ve reached out to both LG and TCL, which have the only FlexConnect devices to market, neither support any flavour of DTS (while their previous soundbars did). It seems FlexConext devices will be Dolby centric, so if this tech takes off it’s going to be harder and harder to get soundbars with DTS.

LG Sound Suite is now available on lg.com, Amazon, & Best Buy!
The LG Sound Suite M7 and M5 support USB Audio (UAC 2.0). By connecting your computer to the M7 or M5 via a USB cable, you can play audio at up to 24-bit / 96kHz quality. For an even fuller sound, you can wirelessly pair two identical M7 or M5 speakers in stereo mode. In that setup, simply connect t

Review LG H7/Sound Suite - What Hifi
Perhaps, the two reviews seem to contradict in terms of vocal clarity. I have also seen a lot of reviews from people saying vocal clarity is good with the sound bar itself. That being said any setup that has discrete left and right will always have better vocal clarity as the centre can be left to d

How the Alpha 11 Processor powers the new LG Sound Suite with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect (my review of the LG event in Sydney, Australia)
From the conversations I had, LG recommends whatever setup you want. The M7s are more robust than the M5s, and the M5s are a more directional speaker, limiting their soundstage. But the beauty of Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and the LG Sound Suite is that any combination will work. Personally, if I end u

[CES 2026] LG Sound Suite Booth Tour
I was really impressed with this new soundbar and ready to pay whatever it costed as soon as the first impressions on the CES confirmed all the advertised features by LG. But I have just checked the LG website and I just noticed that this new H7 soundbar has at least two huge dealbreakers for me: It

[Megathread] Meet the new LG Sound Suite – The World’s First DAFC Soundbar
This was probably the most interesting product you guys showed at CES. Really peaked my interest. I have 2 questions: Can you connect several subwoofers to integrate with the soundbar and surround speakers or is it just one? Does the H7 not need an HDMI ARC connection to work with an LG tv? Is it co
