YTTV 4K washed-out color behavior on Roku (Dolby Vision TV and HDR)
Man I’ve been going crazy with this. I’m YTTV -> Roku Ultra->Marantz NR1506->LG G4 OLED. I’m not sure any 4k content is coming through in HDR or Dolby Vision. What does it mean when some people say MFG "feels" different?
Weird artifacts happen in a couple of games with HDR on. Silent Hill 2, Hogwarts Legacy, and Jedi Survivor are some of them. Turn off HDR or use Windows Auto HDR and it's fixed. You'll still get a couple of artifacts, but unless you're really sensitive to them, you won't be bothered. I also game on
