They are still selling this junk with those big bezels for $500. 🙊. I bought a lenovo p12 laspro last year for $200 brand new. It's a 13 inch 2k tablet with micro sd slot and it came with a detachable keyboard, stylus pen and a kickstand case. Has both PC mode and tablet mode. One of the best tablet

I think there is a place for both paper and digital. If I was playing something 3 pages or less, i'd want paper. If i'm playing something longer, then I like the tablet because it's easier to turn pages. Mobile sheets app (for non-iOS devices) can use the camera of your tablet and can turn the pages

Tablet for comics, 12'', ~$400 budget, possibly Android, snappy and updates for as long as possible?
I use a Lenovo Tab P12 and it the best tablet I have ever used. It’s great for reading comics or for watching streaming. I think I got it for less than $200 when I bought it on sale.

If you can stretch, the iPad 11th gen is honestly the safest pick for notes + design because of apps and smooth performance. But if budget matters, look at OnePlus Pad 2 or Lenovo Tab P12; both give great performance and bigger screens for less money, just slightly weaker app ecosystem.

Lenovo p11 pro gen 2 or P12 Pro. They've been discontinued but sometimes they pop up used online like ebay and Facebook marketplace. I managed to grab a p11 pro gen 2 for $200 CAD on Facebook in my area. Best bang for buck tablet for OLED screen and amazing surround speakers. Supports also Dolby Vis
