that 54w tdp on lenovo wins for football manager - single core perf needs sustained boost. ryzen 7 250 at 28w will throttle hard in 7-8 hour sessions. dual channel ram on lenovo also matters for 780m vs 680m. but honestly both have meh cooling. push budget a bit for ASUS TUF Gaming A14 or Lenovo LOQ

Asus TUF or Lenovo LOQ will serve you better for 3D work. The MacBook will throttle on long renders without a fan.
