Worst Mistake You Can Make As Computer Engineer 😭

For all of you bitching about size and weight - could he have found a more appropriate laptop if he spent some time thinking about his needs and better research, yes he could have. Having said that I have used a Lenovo Legion with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD and second 2TB SSD for 5 years. I am an engineer th

What laptop do you guys use to run wuwa?

If your budget is about $1500 you can probably manage a Legion 5/5i with a 5060M and 32GB of RAM with at least the 1600p 165Hz screen. That'd be my default suggestion to you and likely your best choice. Legion 5 will have better battery life with the Ryzen 7 260 or 350, but the Legion 5i will be bet

Is MacOS (in the Macbook Air) worth losing a good screen?

I had a Legion 5 pro with Ryzen 7 - RTX 3060 and 144hz 4k beautiful display. I used to kill my productive time with gaming, I sold it off and got an M1 Air. I did miss my windows laptop for a few weeks, then the lightness, insane cpu performance, battery life and overall build quality won me over es

help me choose a laptop

Tbh you don't need either a mac or a good gaming laptop at all , visual communication mostly never requires any high end specs for a laptop , you could still go with mac as it's highly portable , but it doesn't offer enough for how much it costs I'd suggest look into the "Thin & Light" laptops categ

شباب أنا مش هعرف افرق بين مين احسن بين Asus tuf gaming f16 و Lenovo legion pro 5 16irx9 بس المهتم بيه اكتر هو التبريد و جودة الخامات

Legion 5 = more premium build quality, better CPU + GPU TDP tuning + superior thermal headroom (I manage to reach 157w PL2 boost with the temperature sitting at 91°c while rendering) + better display for sure and lastly durable. I own the pro 5 IRX8 version (i7-13700HX/4060) and it has been serving

Z1 Extreme owner considering the Ally X specifically for eGPU use. Thoughts?

So I own an eGPU, an XGMobile 4090, all 3 variants of the ROG Ally, Steam Deck and a 2024 14th Gen Razer Blade 16" with a 4090 and 64GB of RAM. If you can get a 3080XGMobile for cheap(less than $700) or a 4090 for less than $1,100 that wouldn't be a terrible investment for the current ROG Ally. I wi

Microsoft surface pro 7+ vs Lenovo ideapad pro - for college

Pycharm, word, excel, the usual, but for those I have a Lenovo legion laptop. Also old, but a good laptop. Unfortunately it's heavy, and with dedicated gpu, battery last for few hours at minimal load. Surface pro, I think, have still more power, doesn't it? Lenovo tablet would be new, and I'm pretty

What are your experiences with omen and do you have any regrets?

I got the omen max 16 a couple days ago. So far so good. Although at times it’s a bit confusing to use. And some how despite having a big upgrade from my previous laptop I’m not super impressed so part of me wonders if I was so concerned with future proofing my laptop that I over did it. I got the h
