I had the same problem, first bought Lenovo idea tab, was to slow, then i bought Lenovo idea tab pro, started watching it at night and miss oled, bought Samsung tab 9, was to small, bought Samsung tab s9+ and finally, perfect size, good to use for both Uni and in the couch, amazing screen, even more

The S6 Lite (2024) sounds like a rational choice. My wife has a 2022 and loves it. For comparison, the S6 Lite is about as fast as the new Lenovo Idea Tab, or last year's A9+. So the S6 Lite is not as old, slow or outdated as some people would have you believe. It should do what you need, though not

Some Lenovo tablets (most notably the Idea Tab Pro) also have a matte etched screen (at least as an option), but they carry a price premium and are harder to find on discount it seems. My current very unscientific understanding (there's virtually no-one on the internet comparing these side-by-side;

I'm in the US, so I'm not sure how your prices compare to ours, but I think your only choices for new tablets are the Lenovo Idea Tab and Samsung A9+.
