I had the same problem, first bought Lenovo idea tab, was to slow, then i bought Lenovo idea tab pro, started watching it at night and miss oled, bought Samsung tab 9, was to small, bought Samsung tab s9+ and finally, perfect size, good to use for both Uni and in the couch, amazing screen, even more

That's what I use-- the Lenovo ideaTab pro 12.7 is very readable, but it can get a little heavy to hold sometimes. You have to de-crap-ify some of the Lenovo software but otherwise it's a solid choice and a good value at around $400 USD-- hopefully about 300 pounds in the UK for the OP.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus 12.1"; Android 15, well built, 2.5k IPS panel. More than that and you'll be looking for used tablets to keep it under $300 without it being a PoS

Lenovo idea tab is around the same price as the M11, but faster and longer supported. Also included stylus. I had an M11, it lagged on the Home Screen for me.

I know it's a stretch, but the Lenovo Idea Tab is probably your best bet. It's more than you are asking (1.5x) however it seems like it would actually last a decent amount of time. Especially if she wants to play Roblox as it doesn't really run well on low end tablets

The Lenovo P12 is an older model. If you can get the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus (12.1") or Idea Tab Pro (12.7") at a reasonable price, consider them instead.
