Mechanical switches in optical switch mouse

Hello, i hope this is the right place and please don't mind the dirtyness, i don't have any isopropyl alcohol atm. So i didn't like how inconsistent the click feel is depending on where i press on the button with stock Omron optical switches so decided to switch them with mechanicals. At first i was

Best mouse and keyboard

Well Blackmagic have their own fullsized keyboard. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/keyboard For the cut n edit page its the combo of mouse and tourbox elite for me, so I don't use my keyboard much. Tourbox because I'm a hybrid shooters and it works in LrC and PS too. I just

How to get back into aiming?

Dang surprised no comments, well I’ll be the first. Anyways. Recently I came back from a year long no pc at all so I really connect to the “washed up feeling” it’s just because you’re doing something you’ve done and is familiar but it’s not feeling quite how you remembered. All good practice and rep

Is it useless?

as someone who has been struggling with extremely sweaty hands since day one, it really depends on just how much it (the slip™) is affecting your ability to play. i've pretty much always used a palm grip, with arm movements for aiming (to avoid wrist pains), so most of what i say may not apply, but

Mechanical switches in optical switch mouse

Yes, but middle hole in the pcb is just a hole(at least in Maya X), there is no solder socket(i didn't try to scrape off the pcb to see if there is under though), i guess if there was that would probably mean pcb supports both type switches natively probably? Like the Orbital's Pathfinder mouse etc.

Exploring input options. Currently using glass mouse pad. Mechanical keyboard. Basilisk 3. Thinking of switching to a half keyboard for space and position. Pictures of your setup would be great.

Dont have a picture ATM but ive gone through a lot of peripherals. Right now im using a Lamzu Maya X on a LGG Hyperion mousepad, and a Wooting 60HE custom build using Gateron Jade switches. HE keyboard doesnt feel that different from mech in Fort but is feels way more responsive in CS/Valorant. Wire
