Finally ditched Razer
I've had 3 black widow keyboards die on me now. I would never recommend it again. Get a keychron v6 max which is like 130$ and even though it's a plastic build, still feels more premium than the 300eur razer keyboard. Hot swappable switches, keycaps, usb/2.4ghz/bt out of the box, no bullshit softwar

Check whether a Keychron V6 Max or Q6 Max would fit, those are usually wider available. Otherwise, I have no experience with the ATM98 or GMMK3, but I got a S98 and wrote a review for it: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/1mmlpbi/rk_s98_isode_review/ It is pretty plastic, loud with

I can’t decide on a keyboard…
You’re gonna be limited with shine-through keycaps keyboards, especially at 100% because that’s one of the less popular layouts. I say this being a fan of 100%. If you can’t find the perfect one, most keycaps can be swapped at for shine-through ones pretty cheaply. I think the Keychron V6 Max comes

Anyone know any good things about this keyboard?
I bought a ASUS ROG keyboard and returned it, ended up with a Keychron v6 max, LOVE IT. They have some great keyboards for a very fair price. Wireless/wired, hot swap, tons of keycaps, way to go imo

Silent mechanical keyboard
Full sized gaming keyboards are getting rarer nowadays. Silent mechanical switches have always been very rare. I don't think Corsair does that combo currently. The only brand that I know of that does it is Keychron (eg K10 pro and V6 max have the option of silent reds). Past that, you might need to

Mac Mini M4 or M4 pro
M4 base model will work, but M4 Pro will give you more breathing more. So it's the better option long term. I can run Windows and Linux ARM VM's on my M4 no problem but if you try to do more intense tasks it might slow down quicker. If you use QEMU to emulate x86 that's considerably slower. Not sure

The default entry level recommendation for your position would be something from the Keychron V MAX series. There’s a few different V versions, but it just comes down to what kind of layout you want, for example, the V6 MAX for a full size keyboard or V1 MAX for a 75% keyboard (no numpad), it just c

Hi all, need some pointers. Use case: Mainly typing. A bit of gaming, but 90% typing usage. It stays at home, so weight/transport not an issue. UK Iso. History: Bought a Keychron V1 Max with Gateron Reds. Wanted to experiment with a smaller keyboard and linears (and thought I'd like the knob but hav

Go get a Keychron Keyboard. If a Key acts up, just replace it. It’s hotswapable. I now have used my KC V6 Max for a few weeks and I love it. Don’t get into the same hassle, that I’ve had. Almost 30 Days until anyone was in the mood the give me my Money back.
