My favorite keyboard so far: KeyChron Q6 Max with Akko Cilantro switches
That's the old doubleshot Keychron OSA profile set. I have one and it's horrible. Both the profile and the typography, and the fact practically none of the modifiers are centered. Once you see that pgup you can't unsee it. Edit: and yes, even that keycap set is not available separately. I got mine f

Looking for a quiet wired full-size keyboard
Find yourself an original Keychron Q6 (not Pro, not Max) and put silent switches of your choice in it. No wireless. No batteries. Natively supported in VIA without sideloading a .json file. Might have to look at the used market, but should save you money over a $220+ Q6 Max (which has wireless and b

Help me decide: Is it worth having multiple keyboards?
Nah don’t get another Keychron if you want another board. They’re fine as a first board, mine was a Q6 Max, but you can get such better boards for around the same price. You should look into QwertyKeys if you want to maybe dabble in the custom keyboard market. They just dropped the Neo98 and it’s an

Need a new keyboard
If you’d entertain building your board yourself I’d suggest looking at any of the offerings from QwertyKeys/Neo! They’re absolutely fantastic boards and priced very well for being in the higher end custom section of the hobby. The Neo98 that just released is only $150 for the barebones, which is sig

Keychorn makes absolute garbage keyboards. Their support is terrible.
I just made a comment about this on mechanicalkeyboards. I honestly dont think keychron got worse, but I do think that the keyboard industry, especially the sub $200 arena of aluminum mechanical keyboards has innovated a TON and optimized production in order to produce incredible keyboards for a low

Keychron Q6 Max - Left shift intermittently unresponsive, how to fix?
For what it's worth, my very new Keychron Q6 MAX keyboard left AND right shift key are doing this same exact thing. It's more prevalent on the left shift key. I think it's bullshit that this is happening on such an incredibly expensive, high-end, keyboard. Very glad I found this thread because I was

Looking for the quietest mechanical keyboard possible
I will look into them. Is the keyboard itself of big difference as well? Or is it mostly the switches. I find the keychron q6 max a bit too priced. I am considering the keychron v6 max for half the price.

Various Issues One Week after buying the Q6 Max
Late to the party here, but chiming in to say I’m having the same issue with my Q6 Max just over a year after buying it. The F, G, H, and U keys have to be pressed very hard to register. I changed out the switches and am getting the same result. Truly a horrible outcome for a 1-year old, $200 keyboa

Quality keycaps with a Nordic layout/international kit?
I just ordered a Keychron Q6 Max for a decent price, but it is the Nordic layout. I started looking for keycaps, but it is so hard to find Nordic keycaps. There are a few with international add-ons, but not that many. Thinking of returning my Q6 Max already to wait until I can buy ANSI formation lat
