Do not Keychron

I have the exact same problem with the same keyboard which is just over a year old. In my case the dot key is showing red in calibration mode. I contacted support to be told that its out of support. This is my second cheykron keyboard that fails on me. My previous one was a low profile. Both costing

TIL I don't have a hot-swappable Keychron K2 V2 (broke my 'S' key switch, how ridiculous is it to install a new one?)

Sorry, don't post much and my text body got lost... My question was originally this: Trying to diagnose why my 'S' key wasn't working consistently, I broke the pin on my Keychron K2 V2 (non-hot-swappable apparently). I needed a new switch anyway as the old one was damaged during my 'inspection'. Can

K2 QMK V3 (ISO) disconnecting randomly

The K10 V2 I am typing this on (in the same family as K2 V3) actually locked up today (in Bluetooth mode). It became unresponsive. Though it worked fine for at least one week. I don't have a good explanation. Perhaps it didn't wake up from sleep, for example, due to a problem with the tick counter?

Keychron Q3 HE calibration issue

Related (at least the symptoms are very similar): Defective key on K2 HE Though, if you are lucky, it is something on PCB shorting out (which you could remove). But it is unlikely.

Keychron battery safety?

K2 v3 is newer and is QMK-based (and the source code has been released for this particular model). Re "the battery inside Keychron's boards tends to swell quite easily. How does this information hold up today?": It isn't really known, though there are some claims it works better. Assume it is just a

Which Keychron keyboard would be best for me?

Here is a list of full-size Keychron keyboards. Be aware of: Keycaps that are not shine-through, even if pictures seem to suggest they are. Resellers often also list it incorrectly (probably honest mistakes) The blinding light. The very limited selection of shine-through keycaps, especially for ISO

Keychron K10 HE feedback

I haven't used a K10 HE, but I have a K3 Max, K2 Ultra, and K2 HE. None of these are my favorite boards ever. But they aren't bad boards. For your price range I'd suggest saving 30 or so more and going for a Q6 if you want Keychron and a fullsize. Just my opinion. The build is far superior. I'll add

Magic KeyBoard vs Mechanical Keyboard

Apple Magic keyboard is a good device. Despite feeling extremely cheap and ratchety, the keycaps, spacing, and 1-1 mapping to MacBook keyboard make it a very good and fast typing experience. But at the same time, it is a murder to your fingers. At the end of the day, I would feel my finger joints ac

Looking for a new HE Keyboard..

Since you're focusing on CoD and competitive FPS, you'll definitely want a keyboard with top-tier magnetic switches for that fast response time. With a $250 budget, I'd highly recommend looking into the Keychron Q1 HE (75%) or Q2 HE (65%). Since you already like Keychron's build quality, these are a

Battery problem

The battery is definitely swollen. For example, note the marks on the protective plastic shield from PCB pins. See also the picture in: Keychron K2 battery replacement guide Note the fire risk. An example. There is a whole subreddit for it. Beware of sarcastic (and thus misleading and potentially fi
