Mechanical keyboard recs?
Using a Keychron K10 Max with Banana switches for home office. Great typing experience and works fine on both Windows and Mac. Might be a little on the louder side but I really like Banana and Brown switches (maybe Mint is good too).

Help choosing first keyboard on a budget
I had a similar requirement list the other day and was going round in circles for weeks for a full size iso layout. Might be one to check out for you as well. Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/keyboards/s/9OwmWT6kTo Ended up with the Keychron K10 Max, literally just got it yesterday but loving the init

First Mechanical Keyboard in Years
I’m no expert on them, but I googled it and this is the first comparison that popped up: Keychron Q6 Max Build: Full aluminum case, gasket mount, very heavy for stability, premium feel. Connectivity: Wired only (but the "Max" version is now wireless too, check specs), QMK/VIA support for deep custom

Kinda Regret buying Kick75
They’re like Pokémon. I have 10 or so between Nuphy, Keychron, Asus, monsgeek, and lofree. My favorites are my k10 max, halo75v2, and air75 v3, and. Kick75. I just rotated back to the air75 from the kick75. Sometimes you just need a different feel and sound.

So should I just go ahead and return this?
Not sure what you're referring to but I see nothing but good reviews for it. I've had a Keychron Q1 Pro for a while now and absolutely love it. Zero issues. Best action, even the best noise. I type faster now than I used to because of it. I like it so much I just bought a K10 Max for my second PC.

mechanical keyboards hype vs actual daily use
I used to have the Dell kb216 in the office. Then I bought my own keyboard Keychron K10 Max and then bought red Keychron Silent switches as a compromise to colleagues and the whole experience is much much better than the default cheap keyboard.

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - May 08, 2026
Does anyone here have any opinions/experience with a good Gateron pin layout tactile low profile switch? My previous main keyboard was a Keychron C1 Pro that I had swapped the default brown switches out with the Novelkey Kailh Box Royal switches. I really enjoyed that setup as I enjoy a slightly hea

Best low-profile mechanical keyboard for Mac with Spanish layout and compact size?

Wired Replacement Mechanical Keyboard Suggestion?
Edit: thanks for input. I ended up getting a Keychron K10 Max (brown). in terms of actual typing / keyboard, it's really excellent. I love the construction / weight of the keyboard itself. i am not loving the backlight (and shortcut keys for them), but I honestly don't use the backlight much.
