LF good creamy keyboard
One option is to buy a keyboard you like that says “hotswappable switches”. You can buy the switches separately and install them yourself. It’s a lot easier than it sounds. The ‘thocky’ ones I use is the Akko Bittersweet switches, and I installed them on my Keychron C2 Pro. A keyboard that doesn’t r

My best keyboard purchase ever, seriously. Only $39.
My last build was a Mekanisk Klippe kit that I spent about $340 on, plus close to $200 for the keycaps that are on it, but I also bought a wired Keychron C2 Pro for my mother a couple of months ago that was about $60. The Keychron is legitimately a good keyboard. It's not nearly as premium as my Kli

Some C2 pro don’t have backlight?
Yes, it does say "Red Backlight (Hot-Swappable)" on keychron.fr. I think those pages are definitely listing incorrect information. For example, the information is contradictory: Further down the page it says: "South-Facing RGB LED Lights". u/Keychron-Support

Partially, but it'snot just the gasket. Different keyboards sound different even when they are similar. Not sure about the keycap profiles. Check Keychrons keycap sets to see which ones you like. The name of the keycap profile should be listed as something like ASA or ORM. Yes. The V6 Max is the ful

Greetings all! So, I've been wanting to upgrade from a wired Redragon 100% keyboard I got (can't remember the model number) and so I've been in the lookout for something. To be honest, I would normally be satisfied with my current keyboard. But I've grown tired of having to swap out switches every m

Confused about Keychron Luncher
Re "Shall I return the keyboard and get one that has QMK full support?": I would But not before finding a suitable alternative (that is actually available). A wired-only keyboard, like V6, gives access to the very latest version of QMK. And Vial is a (realistic) option. But it has the blinding light

I have a KVM - Best Keyboard?
been there with the bluetooth switching headache. for kvm setups a wired keyboard is the way to go. the Keychron C2 Pro works great - it has a physical switch for mac/windows mode and uses usb c. another solid option is the Logitech K120 if you want something cheap and reliable. just avoid any keybo

Custom Keyboard 100
If you still want to build it yourself... Save your money and use Outemu Lime switches (sometimes also called Lemon). They're silent, light to type on, and cushy. And inexpensive. For a fullsize keyboard, the Keychron V6/Pro/Max is great. And the C2 Pro seems decent as a cheaper alternative. If you
