Re "...rollover issues, with several keys not registering when typing fast": It depends on the hardware version of the B1 Pro. A new hardware version was introduced in (mid?) 2025 (also evident on the firmware page, with two different sets of firmware). The most severe roll-over problems were allege

There isn't a B1, only B1 Pro(?). (Unlike, for example, C1 and C1 Pro.) The typing experience will be influenced by the 2RO (missing NKRO (and missing 6KRO for that matter)). It is based on ZMK (not QMK), and the source code was finally released on 2025-01-18 (due the Keychron's usual glacial speed

Severe key rollover problems Unless Keychron has designed the keyboard matrix better for the B33 (to minimise the problem), it has severe key rollover problems, like the rest of the keyboards in the B / B Pro series. They may or may not have learned a lesson from the B1 Pro and B6 Pro debacle. From

The severe key roll-over problems make the B1 Pro unsuitable for gaming More important is probably that the B1 Pro is (effectively) a rubber dome/membrane keyboard and thus has severe NKRO problems. The "severe" part of it is caused by Keychron's design of the keyboard matrix. See for example, Keych

A test for 6NKRO / NKRO For example, these eight keys, Q, W, E, R, U, I, O, P, don't conflict (at least for the B6 Pro ISO): Col 1 Col 2 Col 3 Col 4 Col 5 Col 6 Col 7 Col 8 Row 0: XX Q XX W XX E XX R XX U XX I XX O XX P Note that it doesn't include "T" or "Y" (which would conflict with "R" and "U",

Possibly related: Severe key roll over problems for the Keychron B Pro series keyboards: B1 Pro possible bug. E.g., "While holding down the Caps Lock and S key, many other keys are not usable, e.g., the J, K and L keys." Keychron B6 Pro: Some rows of keys are not registered properly when holding dow

Re "the key rollover is quite poor in conjunction with the shift keys": I don't know about the B1 Pro, but I don't think the shift keys make a difference (as they have been placed in the keyboard matrix to cause very little conflict). It is equally bad without a shift key, at least for the K6 Pro.
