Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?

I have both. One set of Beolab 8 in my bedroom and one set as rear speakers to my Beovision Theatre in the living room. The Kef LSX II is used as desktop speakers in my office. Like @matteventu wrote above, the Beolab 8 are more similar to LS 50 Wireless II than LSX. The Beolab 8 can play louder and

How do LSXII compare with LS50WII

I have the LS50 gen 1 and X gen 2. First, plan on a sub ASAP. I run all my setups with subs, so I'm biased, but the smaller speakers lose significant bass ability - both 50's and X. For near field, I don't notice much difference between the two, largely since the volume levels are relatively low wit

Is there any Sound System/TV Soundbar that's Google Home compatible?

Check any products with "Google Cast" (formerly known as "Chromecast built-in"). Avoid those that don't have it, i.e. Sonos, most Samsung, recent Sony Bravia soundbars, etc, even if they claim support for "Google Home". Some examples of soundbars that integrate nicely into a Google Home ecosystem by

Love my KEF LS 50 Wireless 2’s

I’m loving my KEF LSX II LT’s. The sound profile is insanely good, the accuracy, the punch, everything. KEF Is amazing I wish I could hear some of their other products.

Are soundbars getting like, really good?

Yeah Arc Ultra. It’s quite svelte in the living room. Pretty great for movies. Immersive set for music is a bit of a letdown. The ERA 300’s sound better on their own for music actually. I’m not really a fan of Atmos music, and having everything playing together is fine for dinner-party music or casu

Office Active Speakers

Adam Audio A7V put you in the region of £1100 new. They offer 40-45KHz. Not the only parameter to consider but a measure to compare others. Adams Audio are analogue active speakers with no wi-fi, digital and no streaming so everything is spent on sound quality and build. The others offer more featur

KEF coda w for desktop or?..

KEF LSX II LT are a fair bit smaller than the coda. I think they benefit from subwoofer support - a small, lower-powered one if you want to limit the impact on family or work colleagues. I use two pair, one in a 14x14' home office, the other in a 9x13 work office. The subwoofer at work is less power

LSX II LT - how essential is a sub for near field use?

I got the kef lsx ii, i would 100% reccomend adding a sub. But i like bass heavy music. Got it pairen with the svs sb-1000 pro. The speakers and the sub both sound fantastic.

My experience with KEF LSX II LT

I’ve only heard audiophiles people record music from the KEF LSX II LT speakers and play them on YouTube and they already sound amazing. There was very clear instrument and voice separation. They will at least match up to other good bookshelf speakers as they sound slightly better or on par when mus
