what speakers are actually worth it for everyday listening?
I've been through at least 10 different "audiophile" speaker systems over the decades. The best I've heard is what I have now - KEF LS50 Wireless II. So clean, clear, distinct, even over the spectrum of audio sound. Add a subwoofer, and you'll not want anything more. And they don't cost a fortune, l

Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?
Beolab 8 compete with KEF LS50 Wireless II, not with LSX II. Between BL8 and LSX II at technical level, there's no comparison whatsoever, the BL8 are way better - that is, aside from personal preferences in sound signature. Between LS50 Wireless II and Beolab 8, the choice becomes more difficult...

Why everyone on here think passive speakers are always better than active.
Passives aren’t inherently better than actives. But in the actual market, there’s mostly two classes of active speakers: (1) low end “computer speakers” that are catering to people that want sound and don’t want to think about it too much (nothing wrong with that!) (2) very high end high tech speake

Advice for 20m2, monyes is not 1st Prio
Well something like the KEF LS50 Wireless II plus a compact subwoofer like the SVS SB-1000 Pro would be well below your budget, but an incredibly capable setup for the price. In the ~€15K range, you can get extremely high-end active bookshelf speakers like the Kii Audio Three or Dutch&Dutch 8C https

LSX II → LS50 Wireless II upgrade? Better option around $1700 USD / $2400 CAD for music in a 150 sq ft room?
I'm a huge believer in dedicated amp and dsp, so ls50 wireless ii would be my choice at this time. I'd rather have tuneable dsp to integrate between drivers and parametric for each driver, but today at that price point I think the kefs are the best that can be done. I haven't heard dirac but I'm a h

Whether the LS50WII are still the best performers in their price category
What about the LS50 Wireless II. That’s a great option. KEF has sales a few times a year with some great prices. Last time the LS50 W IIs were $1000 (1/3) off! In the fall, they have a subwoofer sale with a free wireless kit.

Trying to decide between my first pair of KEF speakers, currently debating Q1/Q3 metas + WiiM amp or Coda W’s, need help in deciding
I’m a big fan of KEF Wireless speaker systems. You only need source components! NO NEED to buy amps or preamps! Do you have/want a turntable? If not, take a look at the LSX IIs or even the LS50 Wireless II (the bonus of not spending on electronics!) I have LSX v1 and KUBE 10b sub. Great little speak

Sonos Five pair vs LS50 Wireless 2
I currently have over 20 Sonos speakers handling everything from whole-home audio to surround sound (Arc Ultra, Sub Gen 4, Era 300s, etc.), and they do an incredible job in those use cases. However, I also maintain three dedicated music listening setups featuring the KEF LSX II, KEF LS50 (originals)

receiver and bluetooth
Like dmcmaine mentioned, only the KEF LSX II do things you asked for. And they are above your budget. Also they have slightly limited SPL capabilities for longer listening distances. The next model up, that are double the price, would be more appropriate for longer listening distances / bigger room:
