There are speakers that have everything you need except the turntable. I started off with some Kanto YU-6 powered bookshelf speakers. They have bluetooth with aptX, two Toslink digital inputs, and RCA inputs that will accept line-level signals or can be used to feed the built-in phono preamp. There'

First of all, don’t buy any record player that’s an all-in-one. That’s a player that has speakers built in. They have terrible sound quality, and the vibration from the music can make records skip and vibrate affecting sound and over time can damage your vinyl. You can find suggestions and options m

My son bought a Project Debut Carbon Evo and a pair of Kanto YU-6 as a package a couple years ago for under $1k at Turntable Lab. It sounds quite good to my ears and he loves the whole process of using vinyl. Sometimes it’s not just about the specs and having “audiophile ears” as so many people who

But I honestly rarely have the opportunity to crank them to that point so they work for me. Definitel

I've tried it, I don't use the high pass, I prefer it with the Wiim still outputting bass to the mains (Kanto yu passive 5.25) I don't care what some nerds on the forums say should be technically better, I just care about what sounds better to my ears.

I had a different experience. I use the LSX II LT in my home office desk. The speakers are roughly 4 feet apart, toed in, sitting on Kanto S6 desk stands, so they're angled up. I sit roughly 4 feet from each driver. The desk has the right side against the wall and sits about midway into the room, fa
