My experience with KEF LSX II LT
The app kinda sucks, and in general I don't recommend people buy KEF's active speakers due to that and quality control issues they've had with previous gens of the LSX and LS50W. As much as I like KEF passive speakers, I don't trust their track record yet on active hardware. They get quite a bit lou

Struggling to land on a TT. Bailed on LP60x, 120x seems like too much. I’m entry level. Advice?
Yes, the extra $50 to get the optical speed sensor in the RT82 is worth it. Be aware though, the 82 does not have the phono preamp feature of the 80 and 81 models. You should budget for that separately, and don't be tempted with some sub-$25 preamp. You might want to have a look at the AT-LP3XBT-BK

Sub recommendations for vanatoo transparent zero plus
Yes, I have tested and returned both the Vanatoos and Kanto Oras, both really didn’t do anything for me 🤷♂️ I could definitely understand why someone would like them if they hadn’t tried anything else though, these are good sounding speakers, just probably not worthy of the hype. Much of their suppose

Powered Speakers for Roland FP-30X ?
I went down this path recently, and ended up just sticking with Pianoteq + headphones until I upgrade to a nicer DP with better speaker system. You are unlikely to find cheap speakers that are much better than the onboard ones. I went with some Kanto Ora 4s with the thought I could just use them on
