Do NOT turn off LE Audio.

I use LE audio paired with JBL Tour Pro 3 (and Pixel 10 Pro). No issues and I am blown away by the increased sound quality.

Pi8 with Metal

For metal you’ll want something with good instrument separation/layering, so something like status prox, noble Rex 5 or jbl tour pro 3 in my experience are all fantastic for tws . Otherwise get some fun sounding iems like punch audio Martilo or ziigaat doscinco.

Are sennheiser momentum tw4 still a good choice?

I like mine for the sound quality but other earbuds have better features even at slight cost to sound quality. I have JBL Tour Pro 3s that I put above the MTW4s on balance. Their sound quality is not far off from the MTW4s.

My Verdict on the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max

Speaking of headphones with a screen. I love my JBL tour Pro 3's and I like their approach with the JBL 4s series. Apparently the same drivers but different form factors. So pick the style for you. I read somewhere that they have changed their signature sound to be better out of the box. Be interest

OnePlus 12 + Buds Pro 3, latency issues? Still happening in 2026?

I've used them with my OnePlus 12 and I never had problems. Tried them again now just to see if the latest 7.200 update changed something.. but no, everything is fine. I didn't really like their ANC performance though. Got the JBL Tour Pro 3, ANC is excellent on the JBLs. Sound quality was great tho

Which wireless earphones to get?

Buds Pro 4 for ecosystem. JBL Tour Pro 3 or XM6 or Seinhieser TW4 for sound. Audiophiles recommend Denon Perl Pro.

What earbuds/headphones do you use with the Portal?

JBL tour pro 3, you can use them for everything and great sound, the charging case plugs into the portal and acts as a dongle.
