What's a hygiene habit that people don't talk about but really should?

How though? I have the roomba s9 plus (top of the line when I bought it) and as much as I love it, it requires almost constant maintenance. Every 2-3 days it stops running and gives me a message about filters or brushes. I wish I could ignore a filter for 6 months but if I did it would just not be r

It finally died...

Got it and have used it once to vacuum and mop. First thoughts are that its 1000x better than the old Roomba s9+. It uses lidar to map the rooms, took 5 mins to do our whole first floor. Then about 1 hour to vac and another hour to mop. It seems to do a good job, it picked up all the dog fur for sur

Which robot vacuum works the best? Tired of vacuuming constantly.

Yeah, we went from a top-of-the-line-4-years-ago Roomba S9+ to a just-under-top-of-the-line Roborock 10r this winter. It is amazing how much better the 10r is! The only places the S9 did better are related to overly-broad patents iRobot still holds (being able to detect when a dust bin is full so it

Roomba vs Goldens?

We have 2 Golden’s. The Roomba S9+ did a very good job at keeping up with them. Sadly, after a couple of years it developed Alzheimer’s and would loose its firmware once a week. I have replace it with a Roborock and the dog hair causes it to have a nervous breakdown weekly … 😕

Roomba maker iRobot doubts it can survive the next 12 months | Shares tank on dire warning

Their S9+ has treads that wear out frequently, so much so that it can’t go up the ramp to recharge. And you can’t just replace the treads, you have to purchase the whole module at $45 a pop. And the right wheel has been out of stock for over a year.

Going from a J7+ to S9+

The S9 was so promising. I really wanted to love it. I had the dreaded Error 15, that robot was replaced under warranty and then we had a good run for 2-3 years. Then we got into Error 31 (stuck bumper)and after trying my best, I determined that it had soaked up enough of my time and energy and I wa

L40 Ultra poor performance

Dreame Support wasted a lot of my time telling me to reboot, reset, etc. Then they ended up replacing the vacuum, which initially worked marginally better than the old one (software versions were the same), but later on reverted back to working the same as the old one. I have a weekday schedule that

Roomba Quality of Life

I still have my first of 6 roombas (Rudy, then came Judy, Booty, R2D2, Wall-e and Eve) ...it was purchased in 2008. Still running, but I updated batteries, bins, brushes etc. I tend to retire my older ones to other rooms in the house but all the old ones run great. It is worth the investment on a go

Roomba S9+ goes from red to spinning white back to red repeatedly

We have repaired a couple of S9 roombas with this exact problem and requires complete dismantling of the roomba. We suggest bringing your roomba somewhere close to you that can repair roombas
