Teachers of Reddit, what are your most terrifying "Gen Alpha Can't Read/Behave/Etc." horror stories?

I'm GenX. I just bought a Roomba S9+ for super cheap at a thrift store. Took it home, and it worked pretty well, but it kept stopping with an error code that it was near an edge - there was no edge. After a bunch of rebooting and easy troubleshooting, it still had the same issue. More reading led me

Vacuum recommendations

We've seen great success with the Roomba S9+. We have two German Shedders. But you have to maintain the Roomba. Cleaning it often and cleaning the filters is a MUST.

Going from a J7+ to S9+

S9 is an amazing bot, and remarkably still very much undefeated for the most part when it comes to actual cleaning performance. And to my knowledge, it’s the only robot vacuum that use HEPA filtering. That being said, there are two major complaints about the bot - the first of which is navigation. I

What is the best self emptying robot vacuum for pet owners?

If hair pickup + low maintenance are the priority, Roborock S8 Pro Ultra (or equivalent Roborock multi-dock models like Qrevo Plus) are solid options for pet hair and a very low-touch experience. If you want proven obstacle avoidance + broad suppo

What is the best robot vacuum for pet hair that doesn't get tangled every 5 minutes?

I’ve had great luck with robots that use tangle-free rubber brushes like the Roomba s9+ or some Roborock models. They still need emptying, but the long hair doesn’t wrap around the rollers constantly

Have robot lawn mower reached ‘Roomba-level’ smart?

I have a Roomba s9+. Never had to do anything to it in 2 years besides change the bag every few months and I replaced one spinning thing on the front after a year.
