Is this overkill to buy for a small appartment?
We would need your living room's length x width x height to determine good particulate Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs). See Rule 4: Information For Air Purifier Requests. The Coway Airmega ProX definitely has higher particulate CADRs and is quieter than the IQAir HealthPro Plus XE.

(Budget $2400) Going to return JASPR purifiers. What should I replace them with? (WILDFIRE SMOKE, POLLEN)
If you have high concentrations of particulates (e.g., pollen or smoke particles) and VOCs (which are gases), you need two types of air purifier. This is because most purifiers have very little activated carbon or other sorbent media by weight for gases/vapors/odors/VOCs. Instead, they're designed f

What's the absolute best air purifier for a large living room?
For those reading, 300 cubic meters = 10,594.4 cubic feet. 10,594.4 cu. ft. ÷ 8 ft. = 1,324.3 sq. ft. Your living room really is massive. And yes, you will need multiple units. Choosing conventional HEPA or HEPA-type purifiers would be incredibly expensive. Unfortunately it's difficult to find a pur

Is this overkill to buy for a small appartment?
Sorry, there's some misinformation here. Roughly speaking, purifier sizing depends on room volume, pollution concentrations, and CADRs (although IQAir does not list CADRs for most of its models). A lower airflow speed or setting means slower and/or possibly ineffective cleaning. This becomes more pr

Will an air purifier (or two) help my congestion in my house?
I was originally going to buy the IQAir HealthPro Plus XE but I decided to buy the GCX MultiGas XE because it’s also good for gasses. I am pretty sure I don’t have dangerous gasses but figured if I’m spending to buy the IQAir HealthPro Plus XE might as well spend a bit more and get the GCX MultiGas
