Planning to get a NUC8i7HVK (hades canyon); is it still worth today compared to other mini pc with Ryzen APU in the same 400-800 dollars range?
I've got one. It has better drivers on Linux. The windows one, due to the hybrid amd/Intel apu became unsupported in about 2022. Linux and BIOS struggles with a D54250WYK
I own this onehttps://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/products/sku/83257/intel-nuc-kit-nuc5i3ryh/specifications.htmland installed CachyOS for the snappiness. Works flawless and even runs games like Hollow Knight Silksong, but since it's a rolling release, I don't know if its a good idea for a server.
