Core i7-12700K

When I built my PCs in January, I picked out parts that exceeded the recommended specs of this particular game, because it was the first game I had ever seen wanting 32GB of RAM. Other new games are requiring 32GB, as well, as if the 32GB I could just afford won't be viable beyond the coming year. H

I'll probably build a gaming pc soon, but I can't decide which cpu should I get. I think an Intel i7 12700K or Intel i9 12900K would be a great option, but everyone thinks AMD is better for gaming, especially the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. What should I choose?

GPU will be 4070 Ti Super.

That was a noticeable increase in performance on my AW3423DWF (3440x1440 @ 165hz). I was very close to jumping to the 9800X3D around that time as well
