AMA about the new Insta360 GO Ultra!

Why did insta360 go with a proprietary 2-Prong Adapter Quick Release Mount for the Ultra from the Go 3/s Quick Release Mount that also includes a 1/4 thread. Existing owners of Go 3/s models will now need to consider another set of mounts.

I’m using an Insta360 Go Ultra - a little pricey but damn does it look good. Using the magnetic pendant, you wear it as a necklace under your shirt and then the camera magnets on the front. Previously was using a chest harness and an insta360 X3 but found it too heavy and annoying to use.

What is the best camera for shy solo travellers?

I just got the Insta360 Go Ultra. Very discreet. I took photos sa Macau by attaching the camera pod on the light post doon sa Ruins. It was so discreet people didn’t notice there was a camera there. Get the model in Black as in blends better sa surroundings and clothing. I saw comments na Go 3s and

Everyone tried to kill me today

It's not a helmet cam, but I have an insta360 GoUltra which I really like. It has a squareish "base" (about the size of an older gopro) which you can mount to your handlebars easily, and then the camera itself detatches and can go on a magnetic lanyard pretty much anywhere. I did mount it to my helm

A camel is a horse designed by committee. Was the Go 3 Ultra designed by committee?

I came across a video on YouTube recorded with the new Insta360 Go Ultra camera and most of the comments are positive for the quality of the video and the new camera in general. But this shot caught my eye and I can't believe that no one saw this amount of chromatic aberration.

Insta360 Go Ultra, using the magnetic pendant mount (so attached to my chest). Wanna get into making cycling content so splurged for a nice camera

Whats that one thing you bought you later on wished u were deinfluenced from?

Insta360 Go Ultra - nakakadalawang travel na ko simula nung binili ko 'yun pero hindi ko pa rin nagagamit ng maayos at madalas. Mas convenient pa rin na phone lang para isahan. Though okay naman 'yung quality ng vids and photos, parang it's not for me.

Wish GoPro still made the Session, but this thing for sure feels like it's gonna be a ball magnet 😂

Your camera position is such that it'll mostly be hidden behind your loader and your loader will take the punishment. Barrel cams, that are mounted too far forward, become a magnet as they can see your camera and barrel peaking out the edge of things. If you ever think of upgrading, snag a insta360

What gear do you think Peak Design should make for content creators?

• Would be cool if PD offered a Capture Clip-friendly ball head mount for iPhones/smartphones. I currently use the Mobile Creator Kit for holding my iPhone on my backpack strap. However, 9 out of 10 times, I use the capture clips to hold the magnetic mounts for my insta360 Go 3/3S action cameras. Th
