FPV drone recomendation

Unless you have a full-on gymnasium, a drone as large as the Crux35 will be nigh uncontrollable in an indoor space for a beginner. You cannot have a one size fits all drone that is powerful enough to do heavy freestyle outdoors while carrying a 40 gram Insta360 Go 3s, while also being able to fly ni

Navigating the High Seas

That is an Insta360 Go 3S on him and my fore-head. It weights only 40g, does 4k/30FPS in decent quelity if the light is good. It is somewhat water-tight and doesnt bother him due to the small size!

Best camera for shooting USPSA

I use the Insta360 stuff - go3S hat and X5 for 3pv I’ve tried it all- GoPros are too heavy and the gap to insta in image quality and mic has gotten narrower quite a bit. The form factor on the cameras is unbeatable. The X5 has lenses you can swap if you scratch them - which has happened on 3 of the

📷 Insta360 GO Ultra Mega Thread 📷

So I looked up the specs on the insta360 website Go 3S maximum resolution : 4K: 3840x2160@24/25/30fps Go Ultra maximum resolution : 4K (4:3): 3840x2880@30/25/24fps I am asking Insta360 Technical support chat as I write this, but so far I assume that the sensor ratio is 4:3 while the 3S was more of a

Go Ultra question

The Purevideo lowlight mode is softer without question, considerably so... but thats mostly the case with all action cameras that have a low light mode in 2025 (Action 5 Pro, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, X5, Osmo 360 and GO Ultra). The camera cranks up the ISO to get the scene to stay bright and maintain a s

FPV camera recommendations for seeing bullet holes at 25y?

What make/model FPV cameras are people actually using? Most people run an Insta360 GO 3S (or related models). Are the higher-end FPV cams meaningfully better for this, or are sensor size + lens limitations the real bottleneck? The optics and sensors for these form factors are a huge bottleneck. I ha

Camera for reviewing riding ?

I've recently grabbed the GO 3S from insta360 for in-helmet view. Really like the limited footage I've recorded from track time with it so far, really nice quality and punchy contrast and colour despite my dark-smoke visor - the camera doesn't inhibit my view, lets me see where i was looking in rela

Thanks! Using Insta360 X3 for view from rear. Front is the Insta360 GO 3S. It’s an amazing little camera!

Getting back into FPV, is Walksnail a good alternative to DJI?

I don’t have much from the DVR, since I put an insta360 go 3S pod on the top for video. Walksnail is a teeny bit… grainy? In the lower resolutions at least. But it’s still a 2nd place to DJI, but if you’re recording cinema stuff via action cam, it’s not bad at all. Also the moonlight VTX does very w

What camera is everyone using?

I use an insta360 x5 on the kayak and a Go3S on my person. Got them both during a sale. I like how light the Go3S is, sometimes i forget i have it on. Both capture great videos but have pretty average battery life.
