Choosing between Arya Organic and Arya Stealth

HE1000SE I chose it as the best overall gaming headphone myself. It is a Sennheiser HD800S with proper tuning. Excellent imaging in a wide soundstage. The Stealth is good but not exceptional, the Organic is better in some regards but pretty fatiguing. You could also get the HD800S and use some EQ, t

I tested different audio setups to see which actually makes footsteps easier to hear in Warzone

Excellent topic for discussion! Your note about sound separation being key was spot on. My setup is a bit on the deep end but works beautifully: Soundblaster GC7 as my DAC/AMP - it’s a very good DAC that’s built for 7.1 Virtualization and does it very well. It also comes with a bunch of EQs specific

I want your guys opinion for these headsets PURELY for gaming. (Kithara, Arya Stealth, Arya Organic, Arya Unveiled, any Susvara series, any HE1000 series)

he1000uv he1000se he1000uv however, anything above arya stealth is overkill for fps games and also any large membrane planar can be not ideal for those type of games. In fps games being fast is the most important thing; when the spatial information is too realistic, what happens is that your brain n

~$1000 USD allround headphones

All 3 are very good headphones. But for me personally, Arya Unveiled topped them so I got that one. It has better vocals, great detail, layering and separation. Great soundstage as well. Other Hifimans to consider would include Arya Organic, Arya Stealth, HE1000 Stealth all in the same price range.

Choosing between Arya Organic and Arya Stealth

Oh, did you prefer the HD800s or HE1000se for gaming? I was fixated on the HD800s, but before I pulled the trigger I learned about the HE1000se and bought that instead. Most comments I've seen online claimed the HiFiMan was better, but I don't have one to compare. I found the HD490 Pro elevated the

Which headphones should I choose next?

I mean, if truly unlimited budget then Susvara x2 (2nd one for me, to make sure they are actually good and you're not only hearing things, y'know) with great amp. If not the Sussy then HE1000se is 2nd greatest I suppose. Again, you can get 2 pieces, that should come out even cheaper than 1 Susvara.

No budget limit. Best headphones for gaming and music.

I know your budget was more endgame, but I'm curious if you ever tried the HD490 Pros? HE1000SE are on my wish list but hard for me to justify, especially the way HiFiMan routinely drops their prices in half. If it ever plummets to under $1k, I'll certainly jump on it. What are you thoughts on them

Lyr 5 or Jotunheim 3?

The headphone amps I had before the Jotunheim 3 were: iFi Zen Can, iFi xDSD Gryphon, the Schiit Vali 3, and recently the Fiio K13 R2R. I thought the J3 would be a modest upgrade to the Zen Can. Wrong. The Jotunheim 3 is blowing my mind, especially with the Hifiman HE1000se. The Vali 3 taught me that

What headset is better for gaming?

I can't say for sure which headphones are best for you and your budget, but I did just go through a very similar situation. I wanted a new pair of headphones (coming from the HD600's which I found lacking for games but still smooth for music) to give me the best desktop gaming audio experience. This

K13 R2R is great!

HD600 series aren't wide soundstage headphones and the K13 has no options for soundstage adjustment so your only option is to upgrade headphones really. I had HD650 and HD660S2 and upgraded to Hifimans (Sundara, Ananda Nano, Arya Stealth, HE1000se). All of them had much better soundstage than the HD
