Daily backpack for occasional hiking
Osprey Daylite or Daylite plus. For under 100 solid. Otherwise maybe REI trail 25 but could be too big. Right now the Gregory nano 20l is on closeout on REI. Fantastic bag.

What backpack do you like to use for the Camino? (Gathering Data for an Article)
I used the Gregory Nano 20L. It is the only thing I brought with me from Canada to do the full Frances route in 14 days, so it easily fit under the seat on the plane.
