SR60X

Yep, forgot about that! I think ur best bet would be take the loss, put the SR60X on Ebay for parts, maybe at $25-$35, see if it has any hits and not invest any more money on that headphone. The repair cost of $150 is much more than the headphone sells for. I really hate to see a Grado fan in this s

SR60X

You mentioned you bought an SR80e as well? I'd just stick with that one for now. See if you enjoy the Grado-sound. Sell the SR60x for parts and save up for an even better set. I recently upgraded from SR125x to The Hemp model. It's amazing :)

My mid 2000s SR80e

Grado holds a place in my heart for sure. My first and only pair of them so far are the sr80x. Their musicality, accuracy, looks, etc... are an amazing blend of qualities. I also own other headphones such as Beyer, Sony, JBL, Audio-technica etc... and the Grado stand out as being unique in a special

They were highly recommended by a good friend, and they definitely didn't disappoint. June was a super busy month for me, so I haven't used the

SR60X

Yes I did and I am loving the SR80E sound. I already added the wireless mod and I can’t for the life of me understand why Grado doesn’t do this during manufacturing.. I also got new pads and to me at least they sound incredible. I am also looking into the hemp model and was thinking of shooting for

Planning to buy grado SR60x. Is it a worth buy under 150 dollars?

Crutchfield is selling the Grado SR80x for $125 US. I think the SR80x would be a much superior headphone. I’ve had and enjoyed my pair of SR80e for years and years.
