I think that's only for the low-end GoPros like the Hero 4k and the Lit Hero. Even then, you could probably offload their footage and use third-party editing software to stabilize them, but honestly I find both of those cameras to be underpowered and horribly overpriced. Need help deciding which one should I buy

I’m in a similar spot to you. I’ve owned the Hero 9 Black since it came out. In bright light it’s a great action cam with good stabilization, but it quickly falls flat indoors even with decent lighting.
