Pixel Watch 4 adds one-handed gestures and enhanced Smart Replies
Aaaand Google continues artificially separating PW2, PW3 and PW4... Announcing X years of software support is a great headline, then omit the part where you should say these updates will arbitrarily include features or not.

I can't decide? PW2 & PW3
If you only want a watch to function as a clock then get a regular watch, not a smartwatch. If you are going to get a smartwatch, it's best to get one that will be supported as long as possible within your budget. The Pixel Watch 2 will not be supported after 2026.

To me, providing good support would mean receiving every new feature as long as it's not hardware dependent. I would also be okay with having some timed exclusivity for the newest one, but for all we know PW2 and PW3 have pretty much identical hardware, I really don't like that they separate the fea

Google Pixel Watch Update - December 2025
Shame on Google with this planned obsolesence. I wish EU did something about this, because they are artificially limiting their producst, which contains almost identical internal specs (PW2, PW3 and PW4). Their multiple year upgrade promise is useless if they cut basic feature updates from a 1 year

While AI can be useful, it’s important to fact check the results.
When I had Assistant, I never needed to worry about my timers. TIMERS. Why can I not trust timers? I had a timer set the other day for 35 minutes while cooking some dinner. I checked on it after the end of a Bleach episode only to find out there is no timer. Ands don't even get me started on the ina

Is the Pixel Watch 2 worth it in 2026?
My phone is a Pixel 9, my watch is a PW2. My computers are all Chromebooks. I am "all in" on Google. My PW2 is the worst tech buy I ever made. The only thing it does reliably for me is tell the time, until the battery dies. And... you would think that when the battery dies, you would put it on the c

Remote LTE messaging issues and voice to text issues....still
Well crap. Just factory reset and set up the pixel watch 2. On remote connection on wifi, messages still don't sync. Looks like it stopped around 11/26/2025. If I connect to Bluetooth, it will pull the full inbox, but on remote connection of any kind to any wear is watch, there is no message sync. T

Pixel watch 2 runs out of support this year so as long as your happy that you may not get wear OS 7, and can stay on wear OS 6 then get the 2. Just dont moan that after you do get the 2 you start using it for more then you planned so may have wanted the 3 after all. If google release watch face form

I'm done with Gemini. Pulled the plug.
I've restarted, reset, and relinked all of my products--which is pretty much the only thing I can do to troubleshoot other than making sure they're all operating on the same band and/or aren't being blocked by a router setting. I don't think searching for systemic outages for anything on Google Home

Pixel Watch 4 45mm swimming mode didn't count laps and meters, why?
Same problem here, I have the PW4 bought recently around a month ago. I swam around like 5-6 times with it, it only worked once (when i restarted it before swimming). Other times also i restarted but didnt track shit. However, my wife has a PW2, which tracks the swimming perfectly without any issue.
