Strike two

That seems to be how it goes for most users. Either the PBP1 fit them perfectly and the PBP2 are uncomfortable, or vice versa. In my case, I struggled with both of them for different reasons. The original Pixel Buds Pro had no support structures whatsoever, and the weight distribution meant they'd s

Anyone owned Sony or Bose flagship for comparison?

Used the original pixel buds pro, the bose qc ultra buds (gen 1), and bought and returned the pixel buds pro 2. Bose qc ultra has better ANC and transparency than the pixel buds pro 2. To the extent it matters for the price? Not really, not in my opinion. My issue with the pixel buds pro 2 was that

What do you still use in your life that everyone else seems to have moved on from?

Unfortunately yes, the killed the bud style and went pencil style. I would recommend memory foam tips if you ever decide to switch. I bought some Freebuds Pro 4s and they are secure/comfy and sound really good. Better than pixel buds pro 2 by a million miles.

I have had both. Anc is better on XM5, PBP2 anc was horrible. Really bad. The fit was also worse with pixel buds pro 2, xm5 rocks.

New here. A-series vs 2a

2a are great, basically Pixel Buds Pro 1 guts in the Pixel Buds Pro 2 body, but like another person mentioned, CMF Buds are also great (and much cheaper) as a budget example. Personally I have the PBP2 but I find myself reaching for my CMF Buds 2 more often because of the less finagley(?) fit.
