I'm new, why does GMMK get so much hate?

When the first GMMK keyboard appeared, people were pretty positive about it. It was the first easily-available fully modular keyboard and it was relatively inexpensive. When Glorious introduced compact and TKL models, it was all fine. When the GMMK Pro (with the knob) was announced, people were exci

Having a very hard time choosing a keyboard

I understand the heavy sturdy feel advantage, and I used to feel the same way, well I still do about many things, but a few years ago I got magnesium laptop, and realized that certain light things these days are extremely sturdy. My mouse is also all magnesium and while very light, also very sturdy.

Having a very hard time choosing a keyboard

Only adding that the current line of gmmk pros are ... trash. 3 in, 3 refunded, all had exact same issue, the (not sure what they called, thing that is attached to back of pcb that connects to switches) fell off on various keys, some already loose inside keyboard when I opened, and on the others, th

Having a very hard time choosing a keyboard

Hahah yes non match would probably work great! I am getting rid of my gmmk pro at the moment because the PCB is failing and my brother is also having failing PCB issues with Keychron so I don't consider them good options really. Glorious won't even sell a PCB on its own as a replacement part which i

Yea sadly glorious has.. even at the start, kind been slipping. The FIRST run of GMMK pro(which is what this one is) I got on preorder and it has been epic. I have had a few issues with some keycaps (specifically the space bar knocking on the front edge of the case which resulted in either stuck key

Well I am glad your GMMK Pro is doing well, I got mine thinking a big brand would be able to do better in terms of software support than some smaller brand, that definitely didn't age well hahaha. It's impressive yours is still going strong though after all these years, I got mine right after the ma

How do i fix this?

Yep Glorious, Don't ask how I know. Their PCB socket has a weak point, you will damage more socket in the future when swapping out switches... I end up switching to HE version instead... It's easy if you know how to solder... you can rewire the socket into the next one... Get yourself a cheap multim

first key board pls be nice 🙂‍↕️

GMMK pro three is a horseshit platform for the money your spending. In retrospect you should have spent your money elsewhere. Trust me I had one, it lasted a year and I upgraded. Software is bad, price is too high.

Getting a new keyboard has been the most frustrating experience

I got a Gmmk pro a week before because friends said it was the best of the best, well maybe in 2021 when it released but it barely holds a flame to the Galaxy tbh, probably gonna return it

Have to buy, right?

I got the original GMMK pro. Do not buy. Buy a keychron on Amazon or any retail stores near you.
