For me, it was finding 65% layout. I started my mechanical keyboard journey with a Corsair K95 RGB, the one with the 18 macro keys. Tried a few different boards after that, like the mountain[dot]gg board with the modular numpad, Logitech G512. Tried a Keychron low profile keyboard before getting a G

Can't decide between building custom or buying pre-built

All the 3 boards you mentioned: Yunzi AL68, Nut65 and the Neo65 core plus are all 3 whole very different keyboards with 3 different target audiences bruh. Yunzi AL68 is a prebuilt, just like Wobkey Zen65 but with a knob. Nut65 is an entry level barebone kit (Weikav also provides full prebuilt but It

Buying Advice: Want a Tofu 65 2.0-like kit...

Wishing the Weikav hadn't also gone the direction of the arrow key separator (I look having three buttons over there, but alas), it does look like a really solid option, and I'm rocking with the teal. Looks like the standard is available on Lumekeebs with non-flex-cut PCB for only $90: https://lumek

Weikav Nut65 is one of my favorite boards that I own, and that's coming from someone who gravitates to much larger keyboards.

The only choice for Kick75

Thanks, yeah- I've looked at Wooting too, but I prefer low-profile for work.. I've become a bit of a keyboard junkie and have no shortage of keyboards to use, so plenty of ones I can try switching to. If nothing else I have an Air 60v2 or an older Keychron K7 that I can go back to. Recently got the

First custom keyboard build, need advice

I'd start by looking into the the neo boards https://www.qwertykeys.com/Maybe the Weikav Nut65. Vendors: https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/If you're in the US, I'd reccomend Milktooth, Unikeys, and Cannonkeys. Embarrassing mistake I've made when trying to customize a keyboard was strippi

Can any keyboard masters recommend me a keyboard? :)

I mean IMO yes. Neo boards are incredibly easy to build and are a better value than most, it all pre-builts. They have magnetic pogo connector that "locks" the PCB down to the bottom case, and for example the Neo80 had a ball catch system on the case that enabled a screw-less design. You just pull u

Keyboard suggestion under 6k php

I think you'll like the weikav nut65 or lucky65v3 sine you mentioned having to mod your board. You'll want a 65% keyboard. If strictly the same layout as the acr, thats difficult. Just buy your own keycaps and switches and you'll be set. If you still want a prebuilt, I believe the Fantech Maxfit6 wo
