Is getting an Apple Watch worth if for running?

I’m an Apple ecosystem loyalist (own Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, AppleTV), but begrudgingly admit that Garmin watches are waaaay better for running. Started marathon training a few weeks ago and caved and bought a Garmin, and it’s incredible how it surpasses the AW in both features and

What's something you overpaid for when it first came out that's gone drastically down in price now?

I love the Garmin smartwatches. I'm on my second one now (recently upgraded from the Venu 2 to the Venu 4) and they have 90% of the capabilities of devices like Apple Watch, but are much more attuned to exercise, and have like a 10 day battery life. I honestly don't know how people manage watches th

Going to PW4 from Garmin Venu 2

I went from the original Venu to the PW4. The major drawbacks are the battery life and the lack of advanced training metrics. My Venu lasted 1,5-2 weeks, my PW lasts two days, although I will say it charges so quickly that I'm not really bothered by it. The Venu features a lot more, and more in-dept

TQS made a video about the coros pace 4 and I’m bummed

To be honest, I’ve used pace 4 and garmin venu 4 together while running/ walking and HR was exactly the same. Battery life is the best on pace 4 and the app is super clear. So I can’t complain about pace 4

Rankinis vyriškas laikrodis

Jei sportui ir statistikai sekt tai vienareikšmiškai Garmin. Kažkada gerai perskaičiau, garmin is more health than smart watch. Tai turėt tai galvoje. Jei reikia tiesiog išmanaus galima gal kažką paprasčiau. Tačiau dabar su naujais modeliais daugiau ir smart funkcijų atsiradę. Tada kažką iš brangesn

Megathread: Wearables, Symptom Trackers, Apps

I have a Garmin Venu Sq2. I had a Fitbit before this that randomly stopped working. The user interface of the Garmin isn't as straightforward as Fitbit, but Garmin doesn't hide half the features behind a paid subscription. I'm happy with it, I find the sleep, body battery, stress, and heart rate fun

Going to PW4 from Garmin Venu 2

I just switched from PW4 to Garmin venu 4. The golf app on the venu is better than 18 birdies or the grint on PW 4 You'll need to charge it nightly The heart rate monitor is pretty good and so is the sleep tracking. The new fitbit app with ai integration is neat if you pay for premium or get it for

is upgrading from samsung w7 to garmin worth it?

For what it’s worth I am an extremely casual runner, hardly ran at all last year but training for a half this year. I switched from an Apple Watch SE to a Garmin Venu 3S two years ago because I was sick and tired of my Apple Watch pausing when it lost my heart rate on runs. I love my garmin, even du

What app can I use to count my steps?

I switched from fitbit to garmin and I love it. I'm not a super fitness person, but did get it for ehat I needed. I switched from fitbit sense 2 to garmin venu sq 2. I still wanted a square watch, so that was a big driver for me. Sleep tracking is not as good, battery life is great (on my model and
