Switching from Garmin to Amazfit
As someone who has used the Garmin Forerunner 965, then the 970, and now the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra along with the HRM600, I’m overall very happy with Amazfit. That said, there are still a few things I miss from Garmin. On Garmin, I appreciated features like the web UI, daily suggested workouts, an

Switching from WHOOP to Garmin CIRQA — how is strength training tracked?
Some people complain that Garmin is absolutely terrible for strength training. These issues usually come from people wearing larger watches like the Fenix, Forerunner 970, or Enduro 3. If your wrist is thin and you are wearing a massive 47mm or 51mm watch, it is not going to stay snug while you trai

Multisport Function vs 3 Separate activities on watch
Forerunner 745, 955 and now a 970 but haven't raced with it yet. Multisport every time. Who has time to stop and activity, save it, find and start a new one? This is a race, not a workout. I just hit the lap button at timing belts as I don't trust the auto transitions either.

WHOOP user’s first impressions of Garmin CIRQA — great band, frustrating app
From a UI/UX perspective, it’s just very dated and poorly thought out. Sometimes you have to dig through loads of menus to do something basic, and it’s in desperate need of an update. One of the main tabs is the calendar and you can’t set recurring events?! Have you ever tried to build a custom work

Question for sprinters and general fast runners using Amazfit
I have the Fenix 8 Amoled 22.41. In version 22.35 and 22.38 tha pace would drop to 0.00 when running at 3:30 Min /Km or below, there are plenty of reports of this in the Garmin forums for the Fenix 8, Forerunner 970, Enduro 3. Treadmill calibration was also broken in these firmwares, but it was ackn

FR 970 to Pace Pro
I had the same dilemma. I started with the pace pro, loved It, but was able to get the forerunner 970 on discount with my HSA so i “upgraded”. The watch is beautiful and more like an Apple Watch than a running watch IMO. As someone who only runs (60 miles a week) in suburbia, i found myself missing

New to the forum, coming from Huawei watch
Me too! Very happy with the watch! I previously had Garmin Forerunner 970 watch, and before that a Huawei GT5 Pro, and before that two Polar sports watches. I am most satisfied with this current Balance 3 watch because it looks really good and has all the features I need. The Garmin Forerunner 970

We're not customers anymore, we're users: a 4-year timeline of Apple flagship smartwatch
I switched to Garmin Forerunner 970 when my AW series 8 died. Started swimming 4 months ago and then after a couple weeks the screen turned black. The Garmin is better for fitness tracking/workouts/etc, but everything else the AW beats it. I used my watch to unlock the car, respond to 2FA for work l

Possible move from Garmin advice
Former forerunner 970 user who now has an ultra 2. Only thing I miss is battery life. I was experiencing a lot of random hr inaccuracies during running which are not an issue with the awu.

Do you use a bike computer or smartwatch?
Forerunner 970. For casual rides, no problem, but it for sure doesn't last as long as my Edge 840.
