Switching from WHOOP to Garmin CIRQA — how is strength training tracked?
Some people complain that Garmin is absolutely terrible for strength training. These issues usually come from people wearing larger watches like the Fenix, Forerunner 970, or Enduro 3. If your wrist is thin and you are wearing a massive 47mm or 51mm watch, it is not going to stay snug while you trai

what reason would gamin have to make it small and cute?
It would be the same reason that made them go from FR 305 to FR 970 Obviously, it took time, even if someone may have imagined something better 15 years ago. Yes, there will be all what you are asking for, we all can imagine it. But we have to wait on real companies and their R&D to actually be able

My Fenix 9 Theory
I have a small wrist, my current Fenix is the 7S Pro SS and i do NOT prefer the amoled.I also have the Forerunner 970 (oddly it fits my small wrist just fine) but that watch, bright as the display is for my crappy eyesight, is driving me crazy, the software is like a micromanaging boss that causes m

FR 970 to Pace Pro
I had the same dilemma. I started with the pace pro, loved It, but was able to get the forerunner 970 on discount with my HSA so i “upgraded”. The watch is beautiful and more like an Apple Watch than a running watch IMO. As someone who only runs (60 miles a week) in suburbia, i found myself missing

COROS > Garmin

Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra Specs Leaked — 64GB Storage, 30-Day Battery, and Dual-Tone Flashlight
more complete in software Nope. Having both, I can attest to this. Both have excellent software. People just love to glaze the Balance 2 at this point, to justify their purchase and will shit on anything that costs higher, not taking account of the build. I've seen this behavior happen too much on t

Trying to decide which watch to buy.
I currently own the Approach S50, Approach S70, Fenix 8, Forerunner 265, and Forerunner 970. (Yes, that seems excessive. My shop is a Garmin dealer so a bit easier to invest in options.) My favorite watch so far for daily wear AND golf, if I could only choose just one, is the Approach S50. This IS m

Coros Pace Pro or Garmin 965
I had a Pace 4 and Forerunner 970 - Went with pace 4. 970 was way too heavy and bulky and the ecosystem/metric isn't doing anything for my usage. I run and volleyball mostly, with some cycling and swims. The recovery metrics on any platform aren't exactly useful. Sleep tracking is horrid on both as

yep I just got the Garmin 970 as a gift and coming from the Garmin 55 this is way to big for my wrist. I haven't used it at all. I love my Garmin 55, I'm very simple, just use the gps feature. My husband got it for me and I'm feeling bad not using it but wow, it just feel so big and too many feature

Inreach Messenger - on body mounting (to remove dependency on pack)?
Forerunner 970 just bc its light and i fish. Its just a remote, if u want the fancier gps coords from the watch to send over satelite u have to read it off the watch and type it into messenger manually which is unfortunate. But the range is shit. So it really just makes it easier if u break your arm
