Forerunner 970 stock watch faces are garbage
Disclaimer: this is a highly subjective opinion and I fully realize that I am very fortunate to be able to be picking between two super expensive watches.
UPDATE: it appears that Garmin is now going to stop developers from creating watch faces that are similar to Garmin originals. [Link](https://g

Loving My Garmin but what’s going on with the app?
I’ve just bought both the Coros Pace Pro and the Garmin Forerunner 970. I’d really like to stick with the Garmin but I’m struggling with the Garmin Connect app.
Compared to the Coros app, it just feels really clunky, slow, and outdated.
Do you know if they’re actively working on improving the app

Two Week In, Can’t Decide on Face
It’s been just over two weeks now with my Forerunner 970 and I find myself changing the face daily.
Does anyone else have this problem? I just can’t seem to settle on one. Ugh.
I feel like I’m drawn towards the more simple faces, but a lot of times they don’t allow all the data point I want in a c

New to Coros Pace Pro Family
Hello all,
I had the Garmin Forerunner 265, but then I upgraded to the Forerunner 970. I had the Forerunner 970 for about 3 weeks, and I realized it wasn’t really for me. I didn’t need all the fancy features. I just run, and I need a watch that’s simple and easy to use. So, I switched to the Pac

Anyone have issues saving a swim? Forerunner 970
It gets stuck on this screen and I have to wait until it restarts. Thankfully it has saved the swim once it turned back on but I’m worried I’ll lose my data. Have a triathlon next week and worried it won’t save it. And if it’s not on Strava it never happened 😅😂😩

Is it normal to get a new watch and find a lot of your watch faces aren’t compatible?
I had a venu 3 for a little while. Bought a few watch faces that I absolutely loved. Then decided to switch it up to the forerunner 970. So I got that annnnd. A lot of the faces I bought just aren’t even compatible. Even the garmin ones.
A bit disappointed in that. I came from Apple Watch before

Dexcom data doesn’t show during activity
I’ve recently bought a Garmin (Forerunner 970) where my main goal is to easily see the glucose level on the watch. I did all the setup by adding the Dexcom app and data fields to the watch, so I’m able to see the glucose level. On my first run I had the display always on active during the activity

Forerunner 970 features coming to F8?
Does anyone know if any of the new features on the FR970 (run economy, running tolerance, evening report) are going to rollout to the F8 at some point? I hate how Garmin rolls out feature updates to new lower priced items and doesn’t push immediately to the expensive devices.
