I've been running 5k on a treadmill consistently over the last couple months at about a 31 minute pace. Finally decided to try running outside for the first time, and only made it a mile before I had to stop and walk.
Garmin Forerunner 55 or 165 will do exactly what you need! Honestly I think the whole subscription thing is being a bit blown out of proportion for those of us who stick to the lower price point watches like myself. I have the 165 and it’s phenomenal. Waterproof and has physical buttons so you don’t

my first Coros!
Looks fantastic, and coming from Garmin forerunner 55, it s a big gap! I switch from Forerunner 255 to Pace 3. I really prefer the interface and the training load stats in the coros. But some stuff are missing for me like elevation stats, or records tab stats that is not fully used. (No best time/di

Montre de running
Garmin Forerunner 55. It’s super affordable, the battery lasts forever, I too was a little worried about obsessing over stats but I’ve found it 99% helpful. At it’s worst it just tells you you’re tired when you already know that you’re tired lol

Which watch are you using for running?
Garmin forerunner 55. It’s basic, functional, and the battery lasts a long time. It gives me just what I need - time, pace, distance, lap function, etc. I am not interested in endless data and analytics. I don’t want a sleep score, stress score, etc. things like that would probably do more harm than

How do you track your running without a watch?
I’ve been using Garmin for 10+ years and it keeps track of everything. You can get an entry level fitness watch for around $150 (the Forerunner 55). It will be way less complicated as your runs/workouts automatically download to the Garmin app from the watch. Takes zero work. I’ve never used Strava

Fitness tracker for high school runner (no monthly fee) (no smart watch)
If your goal is running + no monthly fee, I'd look at Garmin first. The Garmin Forerunner 55 is pretty straightforward and made for runners. If they just want a lightweight tracker for steps and sleep, panther eclipse is a simpler route and doesn't try to be a smartwatch

Suggest a beginner watch na may HR (affordable sana since college pa)
Sa 6-8k mas sulit amazfit active 2 kesa forerunner 55. Baka makuha mo pa less than 6k kapag nakasale. Sulit ang Amazfit if you want an all rounder smartwatch. If you want a training-focused na watch, FR55 is better. Sobrang comprehensive ng metrics analysis ng Garmin. Best features para sakin are Ga

how's garmin forerunner 55 in 2026.
I picked the FR55 because it was the cheapest last year. If running lang, it's completely fine. Strength workouts ko I just use to track HR, time and calories for it. What's super helpful is ung data ng garmin that provides sa app. Though with most comments here, and the price gap, baka masmaenjoy m
