Edit: I understand that they are more accurate, but how does that help by that much, I prefer to do intervals of perceived effort and feel with not much HR data

Agreed! I have pace pro and simply use the offline music and running features of the watch. Am going to try the garmin 265s for a bit and decide which watch to sell after.
