Apple Watch battery doesn’t last long enough for me. I bought the forerunner 255 (250cad instead of 470)

Garmin Forerunner 165/255. I've got the 255 and when I was using it on my rides (a) the gps was super accurate and (b) I'd reliably get at least three rides worth of use out of a charge. If you can stretch the budget a bit the Edge 540 has mapping and even better battery life and will probably be on

I'm massively happy with my Garmin Forerunner 255. Great battery life, swanky GPS, lots of data. They've been out a few years now so there are some real bargains to be had. I like the MIP display but some people prefer the OLED displays on the newer models so probably worth looking into which you'd

Forerunner 255. 2 week battery, mip display (I prefer, some don't) and literally designed for running. As it's a little older you can get it at a good price and it's still being supported with updates.

I am new to running (like 2 months) so take this with a grain of salt, but I was an apple watch user (before my running days) and I got rid of it a few years ago because it was too much and I felt that other than tying me more to my phone it didnt add much value, I recently got a Garmin FR255 when I

Establish your needs. Aside from running, do you need a smartwatch? Do you need to answer calls on your wrist? Do you need maps on your watch? Are you planning to use it on the bike as well? The Forerunner line is what I consider the workhorse running lineup from Garmin. I'm in my 5th model, a 965 a

I will get downvoted because this is a Coros sub but I'd go for a FR255 or 955 if you want long battery/MIP screen, otherwise a FR265 or something. All your data from the 245 will be stored in your Garmin account so it will be a much smoother transition sticking with Garmin. If you have a problem wi

I'm a former Pebble Time user who now has a Garmin Forerunner 255s Music, so I think I can try to help here. You're right in thinking that many of the advantages of Pebbles have been addressed by Garmin watches. Namely, the MIPS display with great outdoor visibility, the great battery life with alwa

I recently bought a Garmin Forerunner 255S (after having an Apple Watch SE for a couple years) and I love it! the battery life is amazing and the suggested running workouts and training plans are a great feature. could not be more pleased, and I don’t miss the AMOLED screen or anything at all (the o
