Is my heart rate too high
I am 27 male. I started running back in April and have always had a high heart rate, even during easy runs it is in the 160s. Yesterday I did a 5k and my HR hit a high of 193 climbing up from an average of 183 by the end of kilometre 1. Using the 220-27=193 I was at my max heart rate. Surely this is

Zone 2 Frustration
Hi, I’m seeking advice regarding training in zone 2. I’ve not been an avid runner in the past but I’m looking to begin training for my first marathon and the topic of zone 2 comes up a lot. I’m admittedly very inexperienced in training specifically for running and distance running, but I would not c

Other than being beautiful, what does Suunto do better than others?
Succinctly, Suunto appeals more to outdoor enthusiasts, while Garmin is better for those who prefer a multi-functional watch oriented toward fitness and smartwatch features. Garmin's maps—both in the app and online—are below bad . I’ve never understood why. The accuracy of the GPS, temperature senso

Forerunner 165
Good morning community, I just purchased a 165 music, but it happens to me that when I go in the car or on public transportation it starts to count as if I were climbing many floors and taking steps, do you know if there is a way to deactivate the counting so that it does not affect the floors and s

Poor VO2 max for a veteran body builder
Hi guys. I finally took the plunge into the world of endurance since I felt i should look beyond aesthetics (I have a decent muscled body) and focus on heart health. I am 43 years old and have been weight training since 26. I used to do indoor cardio consistently 12-13 years back and since then focu

Anyone else’s whoop heart rate monitor absolutely suck?
I use it on biceps for running (otherwise it’s fully unreliable for serious training) wrist for others activities. I see a difference between whoop and garmin fr165 (which is not great for weight training. (Whoop underestimate sometimes more than 20/25 bpm)

Affordable Hiking Smartwatch Recommendation?
Edit: oops, you asked what I'm using. Sometimes a GShock without any smarts or sensors, sometimes a Garmin Forerunner 165. Usually my phone to navigate, though there's always a compass in my pack and sometimes a paper map. Sometimes a Garmin inReach Explorer+. For mountain biking and road cycling, a

Is coros pace 3 right for me
I really liked everything about it, even the brand philosophy, until I digged and realised it doesn't provides most of the metrics, and requires additional pod for the same (whereas garmin forerunner 165 provides all of it via watch itself)
Then I dig down a little more and realise HR monitoring is
