AWU2 vs Garmin Forerunner 165

Could not help myself getting a new FR165 just a week before I decided it was smart to also buy a used AWU2. Love the simplicity, buttons and light weight of the Garmin, and metrics like body battery. The AWU2 is drag along the usual a mess of 3rd party apps to present some of the metrics. I still g

Which watch best integrates with strava for tracking workouts

I recently bought the Garmin Forerunner 165 which is amazing. It tracks everything from Yoga to running/swimming all everything in-between. You can then sync to Strava using the garmin connect app. The 165 has a lot of features but is still classed as within their budget range. Not sure where you ar

Suggested Workout

I'm deciding between the Coros Pace 3 and Garmin Forerunner 165 for my first running watch. I'm leaning more towards the Coros as the supporting app looks much slicker and better presented. However, the one feature that I feel I would use a lot is the Garmin Daily Suggested Workout. Does this exist

Discussion Thread

!ping running How big of an upgrade is a Garmin Forerunner 165 from an Apple Watch? I mostly use the watch for fitness stuff, so it seems like the rational move. But are there any downsides I should be aware of? REI has 20% off right now so I’m thinking of making the switch

Pace 4 Or FR 165?

I have zero experience with the Pace 4, but the FR165 is the absolute best value in any watch I know of for the price and capabilities. Garmin is higher-priced for a reason: data accuracy, excellent quality, and a solid ecosystem are just a few of the reasons I own an FR165 and recommend Garmin to m

Huawei Fit 4 as a gps tracker

Yup! Sensor wise huawei fit 4 is one of the best bang for your buck sa watches. If naka ios ka di mo nga lang mamamaximize lahat ng features ng watch like loading music onto it pero I’d say 95% compatible naman yung app to ios. For context I had a gt3 pro and huawei fit 3 dati. If prio mo is gps, hr

Recommendation Smartwatch that works well with Komoot

Garmin watches have the most features. You can install the komoot app to the watch to see the komoot map, download the route offline, update the route during the navigation from the phone etc. (for all features you need komoot premium) The cheapest fully supported watches are the Forerunner 165 and

After 13 years of Fitbit, just got an Apple Watch 😭

Agree, should go for an entry-level Garmin maybe, if you still can. I just moved from Fitbit Charge 4 to Garmin Forerunner 165. Loving the features and the battery life is even better than Fitbit. Also, still wearing my Fitbit since it's better with sleep tracking.

Is getting an Apple Watch worth if for running?

Garmin Forerunner 165. Budget, gets the job done. Connect to Strava and you're good.
