I'd recommend the Garmin Enduro 3 over the Fenix. They have a longer battery life, are cheaper and have almost all of the features of the Fenix. The missing features won't be missed in the backcountry.

Someone else already mentioned Garmin Enduro. I have the second gen model and like others, I've seen it last for 30+ hour events with full functions and finished with plenty of juice left at the end. I haven't personally experimented much with battery saving mode or disabling certain functions only

Why is it upside down? I liked my g shock gw7900 ( I think? Solar with tide and moon graphs) But I LOVE my garmin enduro 3. Monster battery, great maps, tons of features. Enduro 4 comes out in August and I’m kind of scared what it will be equipped with many people are saying, a tiny nuclear reactor!

I use a smart watch (Garmin Enduro 3) mounted on the bike. It has all the functionality I want and then some. The Enduro has a large enough display (even for maps) and great battery life, so I don't really know what a dedicated cycling computer would bring me.
