Garmin watches are great but probably out of the budget more. The full maps on the s50 (with subscription) and s70 non sub are really nice to not have to use your phone. The plays like distance is great and knowing the front middle or back of the greens is amazing too. I love know how far the hazard

Garmin Approach golf watches in PH setting

I have the garmin approach s50, I like it when it comes to reading my shots. But my bf has the honma huawei, it has cooler features too since it works as a smart watch as well. Garmin are only fitness watches trying to imitate a smart watch.

18 birdies app

I got the Epix pro 2 in the January sales last year. I got that one so I can use it for running and other exercises, but the golf app is still on it.I'd go for the Approach S50 if you wanted a golf watch though. I also got the Garmin CT10 sensors to attach to my clubs so the watch knows which club I

Favourite Golf Apps?

18Birdies is great for managing your way around a course, but admittedly I haven't used other apps. And once I purchased my Garmin Approach S50, the app became irrelevant.

Is garmin s50 worth it?

I lived in Papua New Guinea and use Garmin s70 approach at our local golf club. It’s pretty accurate. Last trip to Manila for golf n used it on 6 different golf courses n the watch works well. I assume s50 is gonna be the same except that s70 comes with a virtual caddy function.

Garmin watch dilemma (965 vs S50 vs others) – need advice

Approach has more golfing features, plain and simple, even compared to 970. Fenix 8 line might be on par with Approach in terms of golfing features, but for your use case it’s not worth it.Forerunner is targeted towards endurance athletes/triathletes (and has a feature set to match). Since any Garmi

Trying to decide which watch to buy.

I currently own the Approach S50, Approach S70, Fenix 8, Forerunner 265, and Forerunner 970. (Yes, that seems excessive. My shop is a Garmin dealer so a bit easier to invest in options.) My favorite watch so far for daily wear AND golf, if I could only choose just one, is the Approach S50. This IS m

Garmin watch dilemma (965 vs S50 vs others) – need advice

I don't play golf, so take the golf half as spec reading rather than experience — but one thing worth clearing up: CT10 support isn't the deciding factor. The 965 handles CT10 sensors too, it's in its manual. So both options cover that. Honestly the lineup being a mess is half the reason you're stuc

Golf watch questions

Garmin s50, sakto lang for the price. Tried the free membership upgrade but hindi naman malaki diff. For courses, I download beforehand para madetect. nakakarecord din ng swing counts for scoring (need to double check)
