Anon on the new steam controller

I think the person who wrote this hasn't bought a controller in the last 5 years. Third party controllers have improved MASSIVELY. They regularly include all of these features and for even cheaper, aside from the unique touchpads. Like I bought the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro, has most of these features but

IFixit claims the Switch 2 Pro Controller is "built to break" and recommends against purchasing.

I'm sorry but 8bitdo's stick sensors suck massive tapioca balls. Their internal resolution is worse than that of an official Switch Pro controller even though they're hall effect sensors, so kiss goodbye any hopes at using them for shooters (or anything that requires stick accuracy). UPDATE: Only th

Premium controllers that are actually premium?

i am very happy with my flydigi vader 4 pro. the mechanical buttons, the hair triggers, and the adjustable tension rings are all wonderful. glad i went this route versus another junk scuf.

$99, no idea why anyone thought this would be $70. It's cheaper than other controllers that have less inputs and still use potentiometers.

I have a Vader 4 Pro I bought about a year ago. I like it, certainly, but it's more of a "sweaty console FPS player" controller than the multipurpose and multifunctional SC. The SC2 fixes my main problems with the original (no second stick or d-pad for games that don't like to cooperate with the tra

What controller(s) does everyone recommend for steam pc gaming?

Flydigi Vader 4 Pro 4 paddles, 2 extra front buttons. Clicky d-pad. Adjustable stick tension. Switchable from analog to clicky triggers. Steam input support. Not saying it's the best. Just saying it's worth going on someone's research short list.

Stick is a little bit loose

I own many controllers from Gamesir, Microsoft and Flydigi. Every Gamesir and Microsoft controller is like that from day 1. That's because of the old fashioned stick mechanism. It's the same since the ps1 era. Flydigi on the other side makes it's own sticks. They are built different and aren't lose

Quantifying Stick Snapback % on all axes. Is this metric actually useful for you?

This is extremely useful for me. I love platform fighting games, which often require flicking motions that cause snapback, and having high snapback and no snapback filtering makes a controller unusable for these games. This metric is also useful for evaluating the effectiveness of snapback filtering

Good controller for Trackmania?

Been using the Vader 4 Pro from Flydigi. It has hall effect joysticks and triggers. The joysticks are also forceadjustable. On a fs map where you have to sd I set them to max and you get such a smooth and more precise control. For me it's a game changer. Was a huge help getting that AT on 22 from la

Want to upgrade my controller : Torn between the Gamesir Cyclone 2 and the 8BitDo Ultimate 2

I been doing research on dpads too! And I realized something. Controllers with great dpads often lack in something, and a controller that excels in everything has mediocre dpads, not sure why. Example with great dpad from my research is from the brand gulikit (elves 2), it seems great but design wis

Searching for best budget controller!!

Absolutely don't get xbox controller, its overpriced, without stuff invented 20 years ago and probably will break in 6 months of intensive using. Basing on games you play and your budget I decided to pick a few propositions for you. ZD Ultimate Legend, its about to release and its one of the best co
