A1 Mini - Little worried about the cantilever design

As someone who owns resin printers, CoreXY, and bedslingers, there is nothing more reliable than the A1/A1 mini. The A1s are mechanically simple. The amount of belts, rails, screws, etc are much lower than on a CoreXY. Less maintenance, more reliability. The only stability concerns with any bedsling

5m help with replacing the standard cooler with a 5015 or maglev

The loud fan is the heatsink fan, not the 5015 blower parts cooling fan. That fan is a radial 3010. It's also only loud because Flashforge poorly designed the intake grill on the left side of the print head housing, and it causes massive amounts of turbulence. This louvre will fix the sound: https:/

Is now a good time to buy a P1S? (and replace an unreliable Ender 3?)

I got the Flashforge adventurer 5m for Christmas. I’m 3 weeks in to owning the P1s. I can’t even explain how amazing it is compared. I feel like I went from DIY printing to YDI- (you do it) and the P1S is doing it all and everything comes out beautifully. I don’t think I was prepared for how long AM

HelixScreen: A new touchscreen UI for Klipper/Moonraker (beta testers wanted)

Right now 800x480 was really the min res target, as that is what is on the FlashForge Adventurer 5M that I am using for testing, and that's a really cheapo screen. While theoretically I have gone in with responsive design and the desire to support many screen sizes, I haven't done any real testing o

After tinkering with my 3D printers for years, I want to buy something that works. What can I buy for around 400€ that works but it's also open source and repairable?

Qidi Q2 costs more than what you’ve stated for your budget, but a good choice. Some choices that might fit better (with fewer features and probably less-refined fit and finish) include the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2, Flashforge Adventurer 5M, and Anycubic S1.

Is this a sign of moist filament?

Absolutely not, it's an artifact which I call "flashforge surface blight" which affects the printing of exterior walls. Nobody has completely explained what causes it, I've tried capturing it on high speed video. If you look at it as it's printed layer by layer, the artifact is caused by the extrude

Finished my ad5m enclosure

The newer releases of printer have a reversed sensor. There is a modified hook that doesn't have these issues. Also, redo your hinges in PETG and print a different design. Stock ones crack, especially when made from pla.

I printer does this every time I try to start a print

This in the bottom was recommended by AI but first pull the plug leave the power switch on while it's unplugged for 30 seconds... Then switch it off plug it back in and power it on it drains the capacitors that store electricity. Did you slice the file with orca flashforge I almost feel like the fil
