Anyone still holding out on orca for now
I switched to Orca Slicer 2.3.2 and rolled back my AD5M Pro to an older firmware. Things are going mostly well since I did that. Not really planning to upgrade to the latest of anything from FlashForge for a while.

AD5X received 14mb update file in LAN only mode. Doesn't stream camera or upload consistently now.
I blocked my AD5M Pro at the router because even in lan mode there was traffic back to the flashforge servers and I still got the Update" message every boot. And this was on the firmware BEFORE they started trying to close the ecosystem. Im in the same boat as far as the Creator 5... now thinking st

In my orca-flashforge app my Adventurer 5M pro shows up on the device tab, when I slice, then go to print plate it says “No idle devices!”
yep, that'll do it. Orca Slicer won't work any longer.You have two options here. Reverse to a version of firmware under 3.0 to work with Orca Slicer or try FlashMaker.
