I love Fitbit. I’ve had one since 2016 and it still works and the battery is great. I got a versa 4 for Christmas so I’m excited to try it. Fitbit I feel has the best sleep tracking.

I’ve used the Versa 2 for 2+ years and now the Versa 4 for 2 years and I have not had any major issues. Had a few syncing issues but an update would come as soon as I noticed the issue and it would be resolved. Overall, Fitbit has been a 9/10 for me.

Okay, I have been digging and googling and have not found my exact scenario.

My phone is synced with the versa 4 and overall seems to be working. But my app says the versa has an update. I click the "update" button... and then nothing happens. It doesn't even register I'm pressing it.

Haven't seen any people post this online or even on the Fitbit support pages. I logged into the Fitbit app recently and saw there was a firmware update for my Fitbit. After the update there's a YouTube music control app. It works pretty well on the watch as well.

I want to get a Fitbit for hubby (50y.o) and am wondering whether to get him the Versa or the charge 6. I have the Versa 4 myself and really like it, but wondering whether the charge would be better since it was released later (so is it more up to date?) and there will not be any more Versa models?
